I have always been interested in art and creativity.  As a child, I spent many days drawing and going through my Dad's tool shed to see what I could create.  I studied art history and studio art at Mary Baldwin College and received my B.A. in 1987.  After graduating from college I worked as a graphic artist and volunteered at the local fine art gallery where I was able to meet and become inspired by several new artists.

During a trip to Destin, FL I was exposed to glass beads and lampwork bead making.  This set off a fascination with glass beads and how to incorporate them into pieces of jewelry.  I began taking lampwork bead making classes and a friend and I decided to combine our bead and jewelry making skills to start Noodles, Inc.  For several years we made and sold jewelry out of our homes, at several art shows, and to galleries.  In 2002 we decided to take our passion one step further and open a retail gift store featuring our jewelry and the work of other artists in the area.  We owned and operated this retail space, Fandango, in downtown Bristol until 2007.  Since that time I have continued my fascination with glass beads, lampwork beads, furnace glass beads, semi precious stones and sterling silver to make one of a kind jewelry creations.

My family and I moved to Bristol, TN in 1996.  We have a full schedule of work.
